When I would play on the ps4 with my cousin we would regularly get scam messages on our accounts promising free games or in game things. These messages would come from a poorly written account name or a cluster of numbers and letters seemingly at random with no profile picture. Their accounts are often only hours old when I’ve gotten messages. Their messages would always include a super sketchy link, and sometimes a picture of someone with said in-game things. While I never clicked on a link, I do guarantee some child probably lost their account that way. That is their goal after all. To gain access to your account and sell it.
